There are some fantastic forest service roads to the west of Leavenworth that are currently snow free at the bottom, and covered in over a foot near the top. I can only imagine how much fun your subie would be going up that mountain!

Yeah, Leavenworth is fun. Anything AWD looks better in the snow. I was even admiring an X-drive equipped 3 series out there.
